Opening Up a Brighton Living Room
Patched plaster, a bricked-up fireplace and a bare bulb — rebuilt into a joinery wall, with the family's own sofa never leaving the room.

- A blocked chimney breast in raw render, unfinished plaster where a wall had been taken out years earlier, a single pendant on a bare flex, and a floor that stopped and started at every doorway.
- What we did
- A full-height plaster media wall with a linear inset fire and a run of oak base joinery, square-set ceiling with recessed lighting, curtains hung to the ceiling across the full width of the rear doors, and engineered oak laid the length of the room.

- Same sofa, same coffee table, same leadlight above the doors. The owners bought nothing — the room simply got finished.
